Main research interest
Taxonomy of small carrion beetles (Leiodidae: Cholevinae) from China and adjacent territories. I am also interested in families or groups of beetles from China which are little-known for Chinese entomologists.
Main ongoing projects:
- Taxonomy, phylogeny and biogeography of Cholevinae (Leiodidae) from China (in cooperation with Jan Růžička (Praha, Czech Republic), Michel Perreau (Paris, France) and Masaaki Nishikawa (Ebina, Japan)).
- Taxonomy of Rhysodidae or Rhysodini (Carabidae) from China.
- Taxonomy of Cerambycidae from China (in cooperation with Bin Liu (Beijing, China)).
